OVK Youth Employment Services (SYETP) - Kwethluk summer jobs

The Organized Village of Kwethluk runs a paid summer Youth Employment Program (SYETP) for Alaska Native/American Indian youth ages 14-21 who meet federal income guidelines (in 2026: $13.00 an hour, about 20 youth). Pick up an application at the OVK Main Office (88 Kwethluk Street) and bring proof of age, tribal enrollment or descendant verification, and proof of income. Start dates depend on when funding arrives - watch the OVK Facebook page in late spring and summer, or call 907-757-6714. The same SYETP funding (ages 14-24) is available to other tribes' youth through AVCP's Workforce Development Division.
