Ketchikan Airport Ferry (Tongass Narrows)

The Borough ferry is the only way to reach Ketchikan International Airport on Gravina Island. It leaves the Ketchikan side (4171 Tongass Avenue, follow signs in the airport parking lot) at :15 and :45 past each hour and leaves the airport side on the hour and half hour, every day; first run 6:15 am from town, last run 9:30 pm from the airport. In summer (2026: May 18-Sept 18) a second ferry adds 15-minute service weekdays 9:30 am-5:30 pm. Fares one way: $6 age 12+, $3 ages 6-11, free 5 and under; keep your receipt and the return trip the same day is free. Vehicles: cars/light trucks $7, motorcycles $3, box trucks/buses up to 35 ft $10, oversize $38. The Revilla passenger waiting building is open daily 7 am-8:30 pm.
