KIC opened Yee gu.aa yax x̱ʼwán in August 2026: 28 furnished studio apartments at 120 Adams Street for Elders age 55+ who are experiencing chronic homelessness and have income below 30% of area median income. Residents get on-site case management, help with benefits and tenancy, daily-living support, behavioral-health connections and referrals. Placement is through the community's Coordinated Entry process (Hope Holders Ketchikan is a Coordinated Entry provider, per hopeholdersketchikan.org) (separate from KIC's regular Elders Housing waitlist).
