The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's Selawik National Wildlife Refuge has its office at 160 2nd Avenue in Kotzebue (weekdays 8am-5pm) and runs community programs on subsistence, caribou, and wildlife (including the 'Tuttu Talk' radio series with KOTZ and hands-on craft events).
